SUMMARY:August Alliance Membership Meeting
DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to invite you to our August Membership Meeting next week at the INSKIP LEARNING GARDEN located at Inskip Elementary School. We will come together to learn more from our Youth Garden Education Program Directors Erica Lisowe and Nick Thompson. \nLocation: INSKIP ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LEARNING GARDEN \nAddress: 4701 High School Rd. Knoxville\, TN 37912 \nDate: August 25\, 2026 \nTime: 11:00 a.m. \nDIRECTIONS & PARKING \n\nSince school will be in session during this meeting\, members be sure to bring your driver’s license with you\, as you may need to sign in at the front if you need to enter the building for restrooms or water.\n\nGarden Location:\n\nThe Inskip Learning Garden is located at the front of the school\, to the right of the front entrance and behind the dumpsters. We will meet at the picnic tables that are on the concrete pad through the main archway.\n \nParking:\nWhile there may be a few spots left in the main front lot\, the majority of parking will be available in the north lot that is adjacent to the playground\, the Lions Club\, and High School Road. For members who may need to park closer to the garden\, there are 3-4 spots in the mulch along the large mural wall that they can use.\n\n\n\nThis month’s meeting will also be an opportunity to hear important updates\, discuss ongoing initiatives\, and collaborate on ways we can continue supporting and growing community gardens across Knox County.\n\n\nWhether you’re a longtime member or newly connected to the Alliance\, we hope you’ll join us. We look forward to seeing you there.
