Led by Ms. Vivian Williams, longtime gardener and Chairwoman of East Tennessee’s National Women in Agriculture chapter, Austin East’s garden spaces provide herbs and vegetables for their culinary classes for a “farm to table” experience for students. The YGEP is proud to support her efforts, whether that be through providing materials, labor, or developing new growing areas, as it did through the addition of an herb garden in Spring of 2025.
