About the Presenter
Michelle Saletan is the Institutional Support Manager at Balanced, where she partners with schools and CACFP centers nationwide to expand fiber-rich, nutrient-dense, plant-powered meal options and strengthen nutrition security.
Michelle brings more than a decade of experience in school nutrition, having served both at the school level and in administrative leadership for a large district in Charleston, South Carolina. In her previous roles as Nutrition Services Manager and Operations Manager, she guided menu development, procurement, and staff training.
She is an active advocate for public health, wellness, and collaborative approaches to child nutrition and is known for helping increase the availability and popularity of plant-powered meals in cafeterias nationwide.
