Ms. Jen Sauer, a middle school science teacher and environmental educator, seeks out a diverse array of opportunities for her students to engage with science topics that interest them in a hands-on way. She manages a vegetable garden and native space with her students at South Doyle Middle School, both during the daytime and as a part of an afterschool Environmental Club. The YGEP is proud to support her efforts via materials and supplemental labor.
