The YGEP took on Vestal Boys and Girls Club in the Fall of 2025. One of its Garden Managers, Évora Kreis, had managed the garden there for 2 years, and it was important for the program to continue the engagement that Évora had started, as the Club did not have another staff member who could take up its management. The YGEP is in the process of streamlining its production methods and determining how it can best produce vegetables in the unique space it has. Évora continues weekly engagement with students there, and students are looking forward to growing more vegetables in the coming seasons.
