Whittle Springs Middle School has an afterschool garden club run by Ms. Kara Remington. There, students grow vegetables, learning about the vegetable production process throughout the school year. The YGEP is proud to support her efforts by offering consultative garden planning support, as well as providing materials and supplemental labor, especially during the summer months.
