Adam was raised in upstate NY.  He moved to Knoxville in 2007.  He has primarily worked in non-profits since relocating to East Tennessee.  He served an Americorps term with Keep Knoxville Beautiful, worked at Stanley’s Greenhouse, managed Knox Recycling Coalition, co-directed Beardsley community farm, and is currently the Assistant Director of Nutrition Services at Knoxville-Knox County CAC.  Adam is an avid hiker, voracious reader, sometimes long-distance runner, chess enthusiast, and bicyclist.  He is a proud father of two children (both kids know to eat their veggies) and loves nothing more than working in the family garden on weekends with his wife Ashley.
