KCMG Introduction to Vegetable Gardening Class and Planting Workshop

The Knox County Master Gardeners will host an Introduction to Vegetable Gardening class at Payne Avenue Missionary Baptist Church. The class will cover the basic principles of vegetable gardening, including a seed packet reading activity, and participants will receive handouts to help them design and plan their summer gardens.

During the second hour, participants will walk across the parking lot to the Pastor Richard S. Brown Community Garden for a hands-on planting activity and demonstration. ( Brown Gardeners- You will get to plant your garden with some extra help there!!!)
