One of the YGEP’s newest sites, West High School has a large native landscaping area that was planted by students, led by Mr. David Krebs, a science teacher. Mr. Krebs reached out to the YGEP in the Fall of 2025, seeking support with the maintenance and design of the space. The YGEP is planning to engage with students during the Spring of 2026 to redesign the area, making it more educational, accessible, and user-friendly.
