Mt. Zion Baptist Church and Community Evangelistic Church (CEC) have joined together in community for the God’s Garden located at 2615 Brooks Avenue.
The Alliance and University of Tennessee Jones Center students participated in a workday led by Alliance Garden Manager Emily Brewer to move soil, ½ loam and ½ mushroom compost, into the 12 raised beds.
Associate Pastor Vivian Williams with Mt. Zion and Pastor Reggie Strong with CEC are leading the joint venture of ‘God’s Garden’.
